Melbourne! What an event we have on our hands here….. We are very excited to bring you yet another special guest – none other than Mr Pills, Thrills and Bellyaches himself – BEZ from The Happy Mondays!

The man that put the Mad into Madchester will be joining Step On and Canvas events for "Manç 88-94" celebrating all things Madchester & The Haçienda. Our resident DJ’s will be bringing you all the timeless classics that defined an era with BEZ delivering on all things freaky dancing until the early hours!

Also on the bill is Melbourne's only Stone Roses cover band 'The Stone Rozes'. Fresh on the scene and tipped for big things, the lads will be kicking off the night with a live set covering all the classics to get you well in the mood around 8:30pm - don't miss out on a night for the ages!

/////////////// BEZ ///////////////

BEZ is a band member of Manchester rock band Happy Mondays, having been invited in by lead singer Shaun Ryder shortly after the band was formed. He is well known for his mad style of dancing with maracas.

/////////////// BACKGROUND ///////////////

The Haçienda in Manchester, circa 1988, was a special place. A convergence of post-modern architecture, cutting edge music, out there youth culture, Factory Records (arguably the best record label of the decade), the greatest bands for more decades to come, including New Order, The Happy Mondays and The Stone Roses, and three DJ's that "pissed petrol on the fire" (A.H.Wilson), soundtracking the whole affair with a freshness of attitude that launched many, many clubs and even more DJ's. You've read the books, seen the films, bought the albums, and even, yes, worn the T shirts. A great time was had by all, clearly...
